T.G.I.F.

March's Movie Night was almost perfect? The movie was entertaining, the snacks were great, the house was packed--but that quiz was way too hard.  And our screen kept falling down.  Thanks to those crazy Sorgatz people for a night to remember.

"Run for Your Wife" at the Baldwin Theatre in April was even funnier than anticipated.  Twenty-five of us watched, laughed and gasped for breath as one twist or turn followed another  It was a better ride than the newest coaster at Cedar Point, and with fewer after effects.

On May 6 Password makes its return to FPCRO.  If you speak English and know what a synonym is, you can play this game.  In any case your friendly host will do his best to bring out the hidden talents of each contestant.  If you are wondering what that means...see you the first Friday in May.

Our last activity before the summer break is our annual Family Picnic at the Heitchue residence in early June.  Watch for further information in the Sunday worship folder and on the sign-up sheet.

Youth Sunday Worship Services Announced

On Sunday, May 8, 2005 the Youth of our congregation will lead both worship services at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. as part of our annual Youth Sunday services.  This year's theme will be celebrating church family, and what church family means in the lives of our Youth. Our senior-high youth will lead the worship service while our mid-high youth will participate in ushering and greeting. The Teen Bell Choir will perform and there will also be the debut of the Youth Worship Band under the direction of Tom Gagne. I encourage all to support our Youth by attending these unique and uplifting services.

Wednesday Nite Live Ends The Season With Special Activities

Come for dinner on Wednesday, May 11 and celebrate the end of another  successful season of activities.  Our newly formed Youth Worship Band will entertain us and there is a special surprise for all our children.  In addition, a special visitor – Michelle Eads – will be with us from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.  eager  to share some of her experiences in Europe as she works with teens on an air base in Italy through Military Community Youth Ministries.  She has had the joy of seeing lives change as God becomes the center of the teens’ lives.
