2006-2007 Choir Description and Rehearsal Schedule

Carol Choir  (K..1..2..)   Wednesdays  4:30 - 5:15 p.m.
The Carol Choir is for our youngest singers and includes those children starting
Kindergarten, First, and Second grades in the fall. They sing several times a
year at the beginning of Sunday Worship Services and rehearse from
September to May.


Celebration Choir  (3..4..5..)  Wednesdays  5:15 - 6:00 p.m.
The Third through Fifth graders make up this exciting group of singing children.
They meet regularly from September to May and present a musical each year.

Mid-High Choir  -  Wednesdays  7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
High School Choir  -  Wednesdays  8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This dynamic group of teenagers includes both traditional and contemporary music
in the literature they sing for Worship.  They sing regularly as scheduled for
Sunday worship as well as for special services.  They present  a musical
annually each spring and rehearse from September until May.

Chancel Choir  (Adults)  Thursdays  7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
This adult group of SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) mixed voices sings for Sunday
Worship on a regular basis.  They also present sacred oratorios, with added
instrumental accompaniment, at special services throughout the year.



King's Men  (Male Adults)  Wednesdays  8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Open to all adult men, this group sings monthly for Worship and at special
services.  Their unique community ministry includes programs at
several area retirement residence units, especially at
Christmas time.


Grace Notes  (Female Adults)  Wednesdays  8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Open to all adult women, this group sings monthly for Worship and at special
services.  Their unique community ministry includes programs at
several area retirement residence units, especially at
Christmas time.


The Jubilate Bells  Thursdays  6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
The ringing of English handbells is the focus of this group.  It is open to 
adults with a good sense of rhythm and some music background is
preferred. This group begins rehearsals in September and concludes
in May.
