The Fat Cats Are Coming.....
On Friday, May 14 at 7:30 pm, the Francis Luttrell Fine Arts Series will present their final concert of the program year.
The Fat Cats are a local group who play music they love from a variety of styles and have a great time doing it!
Doug Cassens, saxophonist, has a long history in the music business. He recently created his third CD: “Angels Among Us,” with Grammy-nominee Kirk Whalum. He can routinely be heard in the Detroit
Dan Valeen, guitarist, has opened for several national acts including Carole King, the Oak Ridge Boys, Neil Young and numerous others. He also produced his own CD and has toured with comedian Mike Ridley for years. Quite the comedian himself, Dan’s tremendous ability and talent keep audiences tuned in all night long.
Dave Jensen, bassist, trombonist and trumpeter, has appeared with Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, the Temptations, and many other national artists. He is a veteran teacher in the Royal Oak Schools
With such a talented, diverse group, you can be certain there will be “something for you” at this concert. Please join us on the 14th of May for a wonderful, musical evening with an “after glow” opportunity. Meet the Fat Cats and enjoy a delicious table prepared by Randy Jarman.

On Friday, February 12th, FPCRO and the Luttrell Performing Arts Series were proud to host noted Jazz Musician Alex Graham and his Trio. The Kirkman Fellowship Hall was transformed into a swinging jazz night club for the evening performance, with a delicious hors d'oeuvres and dessert buffet also being served. A fantastic time was had by all.
