Deacon Ministry Teams
Visitation Ministry Team
This team is responsible for seeing that members who are homebound, in assisted living and nursing care facilities, the hospitalized and recently discharged from the hospital are visited on a regular basis.
Transportation Ministry Team
This team is responsible for providing a schedule of drivers to pick up members who wish to come to worship on Sunday mornings but cannot drive themselves. As resources permit and needs arise they also seek to provide transportation for the elderly of the church for special needs (doctor's visits, therapy sessions, etc)
Communication Ministry Team
This team is responsible for cards and letters of encouragement and congratulations, Home Touch mailings to shut-ins, keeping in touch with college students, and any other correspondence required of the Board. It also is the liaison to the Stephen Ministry program and reports to the Session on their behalf.
