Ways to Give

Online Giving

Giving online is a fast and easy way to give at FPCRO.   You can give a one-time gift or set up recurring gifts through our PayPal page with a debit or credit card or by using your PayPal account.

Electronic Giving

Electronic Giving through automatic bank withdrawals is quick and easy to set up and is how we receive almost 40% of our pledged giving.  You can set up a recurring payment by completing this form and sending it to FPCRO, Attn: Kari Peruski, 529 Hendrie Blvd, Royal Oak, MI  48067.

Check

You can drop a check in the offering, mail it to FPCRO, Attn:  Kari Peruski, 529 Hendrie Blvd, Royal Oak, MI  48067, or give it to the receptionist during weekday office hours.

Cash

Place it in the offering plate during worship services or hand it to the receptionist during weekday office hours.  Please be sure to include your name and contact information for tax purposes.

IRA Charitable Contributions

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD), also known as an IRA charitable rollover gift, allows individuals 70 ½ or older to make an outright gift of up to $100,000 from an IRA directly to FPCRO and exclude it from taxable income.  Please contact Kari Peruski for more details.

Legacy Giving - Sunburst Stewards

You can give through retirement plans, trusts, wills, estates, and life insurance.  We invite you to become a Sunburst Steward by completing this form or contacting Rev. Emma Nickel.

Memorial and Honor Gifts

You write a check payable to First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, noting the memorial/honor name in the memo section, and mail it to FPCRO, Attn:  Kari Peruski, 529 Hendrie Blvd, Royal Oak, MI  48067. Or you can give online and choose Memorial or Special Gift from the dropdown menu.

Stocks

Stocks offer a double tax advantage by allowing you to avoid capital gains by transferring appreciated securities instead of selling them while still taking a charitable deduction for the full value of the stock given.  Contact us for more information.
